Another hiking day! 🙂

As I always say, I hate a gym, it’s not for me at all! I rather go into the nature biking, hiking, trekking, kayaking… things like that. In Florida there are so many places to visit and do anything. (read about my Ocala National Forest and Wekiwa Springs trips and more from Florida)

Because I knew it will take me about 1 hour to drive there from home,  I woke up earlier than usual to visit Spring Hammock Preserve. The beautiful part, getting to see the sunrise! The sky was gorgeous and of course, seeing those hot air ballon made me want to ride them soon! I have to do that sometime!

This park is located in Central Florida, few minutes away from Downtown Orlando. And there’s no entrance fee!

We parked the cars and began the hiking. There are various trails you can follow, there were few we took but somehow, after walking for a while, the trail was blocked. And I think it’s a beautiful way to get lost in the nature.

It’s an easy walk. Various logs on the way, broken trails, nothing impossible or hard to walk by. Easy to go around and because of the really nice weather we had, the hiking was perfect (and the company of course). Plus you get to pass by or see part of the Florida Trail (also known as Florida National Scenic Trail).

There are no public restrooms in the area… so, be prepare to really be in touch with nature 🙂 And PLEASE remember to take the trash with you, I can’t believe all the garbage I saw everywhere! Shouldn’t be like that, we need to take care of our planet!
