Sometimes waking up earlier than we are used to, helps us enjoy some places a little better. Especially those that get crowded a lot and fast. Don’t miss the video at the end of this post of Fontana di Trevi in Rome in 360º.
While in Rome, we took advantage of the fact that we were staying very close to this famous fountain, so we decided to wake up earlier, and go before breakfast to the Trevi Fountain. Our visit in the middle of summer (July), every time we passed in front of the fountain, we saw a large crowd that we couldn’t take photos or videos or enjoy it well.
We arrived at the fountain around 7:20am and it was perfect. This was during summer time, in July, when I believe it’s very much high season.
A few years ago, on Acceso Total 29 (my Spanish blog), I showed you Rome on a video. Today, here’s Fontana di Trevi in Rome in 360º, my experience visiting the fountain first thing in the morning. (Remember that being a 360º video you can move the image where you want to see, and click CC for English subtitles)
