So I went on my 3rd cruise… and it was a Disney Cruise! 🙂 yei!

The trip started in Orlando, we took a bus from Orlando Airport to get to the cruise in Cape Canaveral. Obviously everything was very organized and ran smooth. (Para leer en español aquí)

What can I say about a Disney cruise? Wow! I mean… maybe if you are not into Disney at all will be a bit bored or confused… lol. But one thing I kept hearing from people that do cruises a lot, that it was the cleanest ship they’ve been on. Not only that, I’m not an expert on shows on cruises, but the shows I saw on the Fantasy were more than amazing!

Yes, it is a Disney cruise, so yes, you’ll see a lot of kids and Disney characters. But also a lot of adults, I even saw a wedding happening. And a lot of activities and areas for adults only. I still enjoyed it like a little girl 🙂

On the Fantasy, there is an adult only area for the nights called: Europa (Europe). As a traveler… I LOVED IT! Let me tell you a bit about this, you’ll feel in Spain, England, France, Italy, of course with an Irish pub that I always love and a bar that makes you feel in different cities thanks to the big screen they have showing for few minutes a city by night as Paris, Moscow, London and others.

You have The Tube where we enjoyed some shows and it was a night club as well, La Piazza it was a bar in a carrousel with masks from Venice as part of the decor, Oh La La a champagne bar, O’Gills Pub an Irish Pub, the bathrooms in the area were very Spanish and the Skyline Lounge where you sit with your martini enjoying for about 12 minutes the view of a city in action.

During the day, for adults only, there was a pool with a bar and 2 hot tubs. It was a very relaxing area for us.

And of course, the spa area with a gym and great amenities to enjoy.

On the 1st day we were giving the opportunity to get 50MB per person for free to use Internet which it was great to keep in touch with family (really quick).

Other activities?

So many activities, even a mini golf.

There’s also a movie theater which I enjoyed once and they actually play Disney movies that are still in theater, at least on that trip.

And many more activities for the whole family. There’s an app for the Disney Cruise Line, that you can actually download before the trip for a countdown, where you can see all the activities on the ship with their times. And of course, it cannot be a Disney trip without meeting characters as princesses, Goofy, Micky and Minnie, and more.

The average experience it was amazing. I really enjoyed this trip so much, even when I still prefer some other kind of travels instead of a cruise, but the ports we visited were small and easy to enjoy in few hours. However, I really hope to do the other 3 Disney cruises soon 🙂 – I’m a Disney girl! (I’m more into the parks than anything else though.)

(2nd part is about the food and restaurants on the cruise… soon)
