I already show you a video about our trip to Valletta, Malta. You can see it here. (Lee esto en español aquí). Today I’m sharing a bit more about the Upper Barrakka Gardens — a beautiful spot you simply can’t miss.
Located on top of the ancient walls of Valletta, the Upper Barrakka Gardens offer one of the most stunning views of Malta’s Grand Harbour. Every day at noon, visitors can witness the traditional cannon firing ceremony from the Saluting Battery just below the terrace—an old custom that has been restored and is now one of the city’s most popular attractions. We didn’t get the chance to see the ceremony, but we still enjoyed a lovely stroll exploring the area.
Today, I want to show you a 360º from one of the areas we visited: Upper Barrakka Garden. This is where we got to ride an elevator before walking around the capital of this island in the Mediterranean Sea. Gorgeous spot with an amazing view.
