I’ve been spending lot of time in Central Florida. Last Summer while riding my bike, I started by Lake Minneola and without notice it I was in the middle of Winter Garden Downtown. Gorgeous! It’s the typical area I love.

Now, I wanted to take my parents to see it. So we drove few minutes from Walt Disney World Resort until we arrived at Winter Garden downtown. They loved it!

First time, I was biking by West Orange Trail. Beautiful biking trail at anytime and easy to do. Second time, driving by the 429 or by West Colonial Dr. (50) until I reached Main Street in Winter Garden Downtown Historic District.

This is a small town but gorgeous to visit if you are in Central Florida. Only minutes away from Downtown Orlando.

We just strolled by main street. On a Saturday, 3rd Sat. of the month, we found a local market with food and lots of beautiful things made by locals. Great place to visit.

While in town, we went to an Italian restaurant that I felt it was going to be nice. ‘Catania Restaurant’ was more than nice. Food was delicious, friendly staff and then I found out the owners are Venezuelan/Italian so it’s great 🙂

Later, to finish our afternoon around this area, we visited Newton Park, by Lakeview Ave.
