While in Kinsale, in Cork county, we ran into a small but cozy coffee house that caught our eyes from far away: Poet’s Corner.
After walking for a little while, and because of the weather – a bit cold for 2 girls from the Caribbean 🙂 – , we went inside to grab a coffee. However, we didn’t know that spot will make us feel at home and very relax.
We tried a cappuccino, an orange juice and a piece of brownie. All of them were delicious and fresh!. But that wasn’t the nicest part, the ambience was perfect. We were surrounding by lots of books, 2 love seats, small tables for 2 or 4, the whole decoration was so pretty! And a friendly staff!
If it weren’t for the time rushing us, so we could see everything in Kinsale and in Cork city, I’d stayed there longer. You can even buy a book or donate one (in great conditions) if you donate you’ll get a discount on your next book. It has a large collection of books from traveling to drama or romance. Obviously, it’s not Barnes & Nobles that you’ll find everything, but I think that’s the beauty of it.
Get to know more about it at their web site or… visit it in Kinsale!
I invite you to watch AT29’s video about Kinsale here! 🙂
I love it when folks get together and share ideas. Great website,
continue the good work!
